Ryan Hottenstein is a Vice President of Financial S&lutions LLC. He assists clients with the structuring and pricing of debt and derivative products. Ryan also provides clients with financial and operational consulting services.

Ryan previously served as Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Reading, Pennsylvania, where he was responsible for all city affairs and operations, including an annual budget of $115 million. As Managing Director, he implemented a guaranteed energy savings program that invested $5 million for capital improvements needed while producing net savings. Prior to becoming Managing Director, Ryan served as Finance Director, where he oversaw all financial activity including the accounting/treasury, purchasing, tax and budget divisions. In this capacity, he restructured the city’s pension liability resulting in an annual savings of $1 million and lifetime savings of more than $30 million and managed more than $181 million in assets as board member and treasurer of the Officers & Employees, Fire, and Police pension boards.

He received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland and an MBA with a concentration in corporate business from Alvernia University.
